Channel update is creating mode duplicates

When I run the Update M3U playlist from devices tab it creates more duplicates instead of updating the channels with the correct list. 

I am using an external m3u editor and I was expecting whenever I update the playlist nextpvr should update the list as it is in my external editor.

I am changing the order of the groups, update the logos, disable other groups that I don't need. 

This is the work I am doing. Nevertheless, shouldn't the Update operation overwrite the playlist in nextPVR?

It should only add new channels. Existing channels (matching by name) should be left as-is.

Hmm, I didn't add new channels, I am just editing the current channels. Maybe would be best to have an option to overwrite the existing channels too? I would prefer having this option, this would update the current playlist with all the recent changes, like names, logos etc. In order to fix the duplicates, I had to rebuild nextPVR again.  All the current mapping that I did is gone now . That's ok, I am currently testing nextPVR before I start using it fully.

I was using TvMosaic in the past, and every time I was updating the channels, TvMosaic was updating any changes to all the channels in the app.

Update does update urls that change.

As well as adding new channels, it will update the stream url for existing channels if they have changed.

Why not overwriting current channels too? 

For e.g If I update my logos inside my m3u editor, then, to apply the latest changes in NextPVR I have to rebuild the whole NextPVR because it will not update my latest changes.

I have more than one channel with the same name so I can have alternates if one goes down, and I think this is the cause.

Here is an example of my channel 455, BT Sport 2 HD, it has an oid of 13964, but CHANNEL_GROUP has the same oid for the other channels with the same name.

Each time you hit the 'update m3u', does it add channels? If so, can you please PM me a download link to your npvr.db3 file, so I can try it here? There is going to be a new release this weekend, so this is a good time to do it if you'd like this fixed.
