TV guide and other questions

coming from tvheadend, first time user of Nextpvr.
A couple questions.
server running Version: 5.0.9.201026  on debian 4.19.0-12-amd64 #1 SMP Debian 4.19.152-1
client running on archlinux 5.9.2-arch1-1 #1 SMP PREEMPT Thu, 29 Oct 2020 17:01:28 +0000 x86_64 GNU/Linux
client version 3.3.2.1
I have auto mapped channels, updated m3u, started, stopped, restarted nextpvr-server.
On the web server I am able to see the groups, however many guide listing show "no listing", these include all of the major networks.

Looking at the xml:

What do I need to look for in the logs, that would indicate some error for missing these?

Using IPTVBoss to edit the m3u/xml from my provider, I have disabled nearly all regional local channels, yet on the epg guide in nextpvr, I see over 300 regional channels, channels which I have excluded from m3u/xml files, there are no guide data, and they do not play, but how is it that these channels are being pulled in?
Within IPTVBoss I have the following:
Network, Low Band, My Locals, My Movies, and Premium Movies
Under My Locals, I've added a couple channels, after starting, stopping, these added channels do not appear, I've updated m3u in nextpvr, checked the logs, I see no clue as to what I' missing.

Appreciate some guidence.

Focus on the m3u file not the guide and make sure tvg-id matches channel "id"

hey, thanks for the hint.
After processing in IPTVBoss, and looking at the m3u, heres what I see:

channel id="provider_nameUSA_Regional_Locals_ALL_EPGKCBS"

so the boss is adding USA_Regional_Locals_ALL_EPG, from the m3u downloaded direct from the provider, I see:
tvg-ID="" tvg-name="CBS (KCBS) Los Angeles CA"

Is this causing the missing data?

As a side note, spun up a docker, input using info from the provider, no exterior editing, spent alonnnnng time editing, we'll see what happens when it updates.
Is the scheduled update time 12 or 24 hour clock?

I suspect the missing tvg-id is the issue. I don't know how tvg-name is even defined or used that would be for sub, clearly it doesn't link directly to the EPG.

tvg-ID (or tvg-id) is the attribute used to do EPG mapping. If yours is tvg-ID="" then that channel isn't going to be mapped to anything.

appreciate the pointer.
so far I'm liking the program, seems to be better integrated to kodi display as well as faster mapping, with tvh, it went thru all channels, limited by the amount of subscriptions you have, takes maybe an hour, this seems to accomplish the same list in minutes.

So, several days in, still liking the program.
Noticing a problem with guide logos, they are not even close, for instance Newsmax 3 displays the logo for Showtime extreme,
WNBC, New York shows MoreMax.
I have verified IPTVBoss has the correct logos, if I select download icons, from where does it fetch them from?, the xml, epg, or the web
The logos are correct in the web view, but in kodi they are incorrect, must be a kodi thing?

Kodi caches the icons by channel ID so if you reset your backend you need to remove the icons manually. In Matrix you can do this by channel or erase all of them. In Leia they are in the userdata/addon_ons/pvr.nextpvr folder as nextpvr*.png
