Hi, after install, doing setting I get an error executing the link (same triying 8867), which the cause?

Further, now I cannot set again 8866, what to do?

Are you running v4 or just v5?

Don't worry about 8867 then. Stop the service and manually edit C:\Users\Public\NPVR-data\config.xml with notepad and change 8867 to 8866 and restart the service.

If that doesn't work zip and update the logs in C:\Users\Public\NPVR-data\logs

Devices are only active when you are recording or watching live tv. Did you try a recording?

The Realtek devices need very specific drivers on Windows.

No, I think it is dead, I cannot do anything, I can see the sometime ago last scansion but I cannot see livetv and now a rescanning finds nothing.
Maybe it has been caused by a windows update?

You'd need to send logs showing the rescan. You also have to ensure that you are logged in. Just because you see the screen in the browser is not enough you might to need to use ctrl-f5 to refresh it.

Also yes a Windows update can break the cheap realtek devices.
