had a hard drive failure and had to rebuild my NextPVR server and found an issue that I've cannot find root cause after a week of troubling shooting. If I reboot my windows 10 everything works fine on Kodi and remote web page as I can see All Recordings, once I PDR into the NextPVR Server All Recording's will not show up on Kodi or in the web page this includes the Windows 10 that NextPVR is running on. Yes I was running the latest build the only deference's was I installed just the new build on my new rebuild hard drive.

Only way to get this list working again is a reboot and don't RDP into my PVR Server.

Guess no one has seen this issue using RDP into a Windows 10 Pro as all recordings no longer will display on the Web or no recordings show up in Kodi until you reboot the window pro PC that nextpvr is running on, after reboot and don't RDP into the nextpvr PC everything works just fine.

I, and perhaps others, can't be arsed to install the software to use with .7z files when zip files are supported as standard on pretty much everything ... Sorry.

Although I like 7zip and I looked but I prefer when the logs that are flushed using the normal process.

As the guys said above, we'll probably need the zipped log file, generated by clicking the 'log files' button, since it'll cause the logs to be flushed. (immediately after reproducing the error)

Do the recordings normally live on a local hard drive, or a network share?

It maybe something to do with drive substitution that RDP can do. I would have expected it to only affect the session you were using, but maybe if it was running as the same account NextPVR was running as, it may have an effect there too...ie causing drives to no longer be visible to NextPVR and other applications.

Either way, this isn't sounding like a NextPVR bug, but rather soomething enviromental that RDP is causing.

Update

I found root cause, the user I use to RDP in with did not have full admin rights, If I login using the administrator user everything keeps working find, so I'm going to go with this is a Windows 10 Pro vs Windows 10 Home edition behavior.

As long I use only the administrator account everything works as expected so I will only use the administrator user for RDP moving forward and no ask why windows does what it does. Using Server 2012 or 2016 once a user is given admin rights everything work as Windows 10 Pro does not.
