Hi:

I am new to this forum or any forum for that matter.  I hope i am in the right place.

I am trying to get Schedules Direct up and running but i seem to have a need to edit the host file.  I now how to do that, i just don't know how.

Today Schedules Direct canceled my subscription.  Do i need that before i edit the host file.

Can somebody help me with this.

Not sure what you mean. You shouldn't need to edit your hosts file.

You do need an active subscription to be able to use Schedules Direct.

Did you setup Schedules Direct as described here ... https://github.com/sub3/NextPVR/wiki/Setup-EPG

Clcik ... Update EPG ... and then attach logs to a post telling us the time of the EPG Update ... https://github.com/sub3/NextPVR/wiki/get-help

You send me this via PM and I didn't understand it but I pointed you to the wiki https://github.com/sub3/NextPVR/wiki/Setup-EPG which should show you how to configure Schedules Direct.

I followed your instructions, but never found anything about the host file.

I am going to renew my Schedules Direct. I will try to get it to work. If the host file issue pops up again i will write down everything it says.

Why do you mean by host file?
