Thanks. I must have changed the default, then, not knowing it would have the effect of preventing the machine from sleeping. Since I'm not the only one having the problem with this option apparently, perhaps there could be some sort of warning in the UI, such as "(may break power management on some systems)". IMO, for a DVR, power management is a truly critical feature, especially when running on a power hungry PC.
