PCI and USB tuners on same system

I have both Windows 10 and Linux systems both with Nextpvr V5. They both have pci (TBS6205) and usb (hauppuage) tuners installed.
Windows will detect and configure both tuners. Linux will not. I can have one or the other but not both. I cannot find this to be a restriction
antwhere in the documentation. Is it or is it a bug ?

It is a case of missing logs from Linux. Without them I consider you aren't having any issue.

Martin, I assume from your reply that Windows and Linux should behave the same way. Can I select which logs you would like to
see and what procedure you would like me to carry out to get the appropriate logs ?

The system has PCI TBS6205 and two  USB hauppuage dongles. All  appear in lshw, lspci and ls usb..

I thought you said that it would find NextPVR did find the Hauppauge tuner if the TBS tuners was not installed but I didn't see the Hauppauge in those logs. NextPVR only detects devices on startup, do things change if after booting your run

sudo service nextpvr-helper restart

If that works you need to change your start up script timing to make sure the service comes up after the tuners. I've posted some examples of what I do

If not do you see all adapters in

ls -l /dev/dvb

Also when you run

/opt/nextpvr/system/DeviceHost/x64/DeviceHostLinux -discover

does it find them?

Some other helpful output would be

sudo dmesg | grep adapter

Like Martin suggested, I'd be checking /dev/dvb to see if all your adapters are listed. In the logs it looks like your linux system is only reporting the TBS tuner as being available.
