Hi all,
I use NextPVR in conjunction with MCEBuddy to automatically transcode and edit out commercials from my ota recordings. It’s set up and and is working well.
There’s only one quality of life issue with my current setup.
Right now, NextPVR records the show, mcebuddy watches the recording folder and during the transcoding hours, it will grab the recording, transcoded it to h264 and drops the transcoded file in another watch folder where Emby’s auto-organize plugin moves it into the library.
Once the episode has been transcoded, it deletes the original recording.
The problem at the moment is that NextPVR keeps a stub entry of the original recording, which it cannot play back because it’s been transcoded. At the moment my only option is to manually delete these stub entries.
Is there a way for NextPVR to check recording stubs against the files, and automatically remove recording entries from its database of the file is no longer there?
