Does Nlite still work?

I am trying to fault find an intermittent Resume function on my system using the NextPVR New Client and trying to use Nlite as a different client to see if it has the same problem or it its a server problem.
It does not "resume" and always starts at the beginning.
None of the MCE remote buttons seem to Fast Forward or Skip Forward. The bar does advance but immediately resets to zero.
Pause and resume seem to work for the video but the timeline resets to zero on resume.
I tried it on two different PCs.
I did try it for some reason a year or two ago but that may have been with NPVR V4 and I thought it worked OK then.

I can't answer your question on NLite but NextPVR server has a general resume issue with UI Client on all platforms if you use comksip and the commercial is at the beginning of the show.

Do you mean nextpvr.exe? You shouldn't have any resume issues there. Are you recordings just normal .ts files, or have your trancoded to something else?

In recent years NLite has mainly just used as a development test harness, which I use while testing stuff for other UI clients, like Martin's Kodi and Roku clients. It's had a bit more work in recent times, as we've worked through stuff with the development of the roku client, but this has been mainly in the area of the UI (rather than video playback). NLite does have known issues around skipping and resume, which I've been meaning to fix.

Thanks I have been using Martin's client for many years without a problem. My server runs Windows 8.1 and built a Windows 10 test disk but that had the same problems hence wanting to try a different client!

Its not so much the resume function as the unreliability of the green bar sometimes to indicate I have watched something!

I have now installed the NextPVR PVR Client on one of my LibreElec Clients so will give that a try!
