Unable to connect to remote server

Love the software. First-time, long time.

Sometimes Next just "goes to sleep". I try to open the desktop app and it will say "Unable to connect to remote server"?

I have to run the install or reboot to bring it back to life. 

Is there something I can do to connect without install or reboot?

I have attached my most recent log files.

You don't happen to remember when it happened? I'm not quite sure where to look in your logs.

You could look in the windows event viewer, and see if there is any errors about that time.

You wont need to reinstall. The most you should have to do is restart the NextPVR service.

It was over overnight past 9pm CST and I posted immediately. How can I restart the service? I used to have a start and stop icon with v4. Is there something similar with 5? Command line?

It seems to be exiting during the EPG update, it looks like there is no network at 03:31. I'd focus on Windows event errors around that time.

Was it still running enough for you to get the logs, or did you have to restart to do that?

In Windows you can click the Window's Start button, type services, run that, and right click on the NextPVR Service, and choose restart.
