Failed recording

Today I had two back to back recordings scheduled and the first one was successful but the next one failed. The first one starts at 15:30 and the second one at 16:00.  Possibly the "dreaded database lock error from art download" again?

In the NextPVR settings I have all the Artwork sources checked except for SchedulesDirect.

I am seeing lots of unexplained file permission errors. Did you do any maintenance as sudo?

Yesterday I tried deleting a few recordings and could not. I found that the "Recorded TV" folder had the wrong permissions so change it to the video group with full permissions.

Shouldn't have affected the recordings today.

There are so many permission errors I don't know what to suggest. Check all of these have nextpvr rights

ls -lt /var/opt/nextpvr/media/shows/*.xml | less

Check that you can create folders on your share

Maybe try and record to the default recording folder in you home folder.

Thanks Martin. I think I have all the permissions issues straightened out now. Also deleted the /shows/ contents and it got repopulated with new show data. Checked the logs again and didn't see any errors.
