No video output on win10

Hello I am trying out nextpvr with a Hauppauge 955Q , wintv10 seems to have a similar problem.. 

Unable to see any video output from the web or client.exe . Tried recording a few different channels and I just get a blank 0 KB .ts file, it successfully scanned QAM channels. 

I saw a post saying you needed to install additional Graphics feature to windows 10 apps, tried running as admin -

Not sure if this is a transcoding issue or a hardware issue , or if the issue resides between the chair and the computer...

If no data makes it into that .ts file, then it's not a playback issues. It's a capture/signal issue.

Since you say WinTV10 is having similar issues, it's likely to be signal related. ie, is the antenna still on the roof , and the cable still connected.

Because the strength is good, I suspect you don't have clear QAM so you would need to try an external antenna an use OTA ATSC

Does cable work on your TV's without a cable box?

Maybe your cable company no longer has these channels as clear qam. ie, could be encrypted now.
