nextpvr server stopped running

Good that is consistent with the crash so it isn't totally random. I would see if clearing the Saturday Night Live files from thumbs is what is needed.

From the verbose log I am also surprised by this line which appears to be completly out of sequence

I'm thinking there is an issue with the hash sub uses to create the thumbs.

I didn't delete those files yet.  Further testing is a  little more peculiar.

I tested to see if those shows caused a problem in the KNewC kodi add-on and they did not.  I did navigate using the number key menu so it did not do as much scrolling.

I then went to the UIDroid and sorted the recordings in reverse alpha and I was able to go thru those shows with no problem.

I sorted back to alpha and started scrolling again and it crashed at a random spot,  

I restarted and then tried using UIDroid and the FF buttons to scroll in jumps and I was able to get thru that section fine.  I then tried scrolling up one show at a time and eventually it crsahed again.

I think it is the accumulated number of single scrolls that causes it.

Maybe try running top or htop on the server to see if it is eating memory before the crash.
