Hello,

Looking for some support around the Record Series function.

See the image below for the Guide.

[Image: qhXUcTd.png]

I select the "Today" show at 06:00 - 09:00, followed by Record Series.

However only the "Today" show at 05:29 - 06:00 is now red. This is also confirmed in the Scheduler.

The only way I can get NextPVR to record the "Today" show at 06:00 - 09:00 is to select "Record Once". I am not sure why Record Series (including Add Manual Recording using Keyword -> Title) won't pick up this show timeslot.

Any assistance is appreciated.

I had a look at XML on Matt Huisman's site https://raw.githubusercontent.com/matthu...ne/epg.xml and it appears there really shouldn't be a break at that time. Perhaps disable avoid duplicates and see what happends

Rather the a series recording I'd think a manual recording for the whole time period would be make more sense.

Code:
<programme channel="tv.101204000401" start="20211103192900 +0000" stop="20211103230000 +0000">
    <title>Today</title>
    <subtitles type="teletext"/>
    <rating system="Freeview">
      <value>NC</value>
    </rating>
  </programme>

Hi Martin,

The suggestion of disabling "avoid duplicates" did the trick as a workaround. Just unfortunate that other recording series may be impacted since it will begin recording duplicates.

Cheers!

That is why I suggested the manual alternative.  Sub might have a better solution for joining them, you could use the mjh xmltv file for 9hd

Looking forward to what Sub may have to offer as a solution Smile
