A Record isn't played on web UI and only shuttering on desktop UI.
Moreover none of the UI's allow fast forward/backwards scrolling or any handling of the recorded file at all.
Any clue?

The timing file for the file (I assume this is the one) C:\Users\Public\Videos\Der Pate\Der Pate_20251228_23350228.ts seems to be bad but that could mean the file is bad too the quality seems low for that channgel

Zip up C:\Users\Public\Videos\Der Pate\Der Pate_20251228_23350228.timing and upload it here and then remove it to see if the playback improves.

If it still fails you aren't using the LAV 32 bit decoder so the NextPVR.exe desktop client could have problems.

Yeah, I'm guessing it's bad reception, and there is big chunks of missing/corrupt packets in the recording.

The strange things is, that the recordings can be played with an external player (Power DVD) clearly, without any glitches or disruptions

I am sure you will find different clients will handle bad ts files differently.

I checked the file with some tools I have. I confirmed the file is fine. It only had 3 missing packets, which is effectively nothing. Largely a perfect file.

I only tried playing it in NextPVR desktop UI, and it played fine here, and no notable problems clicking the timeline to skip within the file. It played smoothly, and sounded fine. I was configured to use the LAV Video Decoder and LAV Audio Decoder. It looks like you were configured to use Microsoft decoders. It might be worth trying the LAV decoders to see if it helps.

I didn't do a lot of analysis because I didn't see any attempt to play that sample file just one called Gravity and that was in the browser

The main problem is the web UI, even though the comands (>>, << and sliding the timeline) don't work properly on both interfaces
