Ok, I see I ran the wrong exe. Did that and still have the same issues. When the video hung on the client, the output in the debug window also paused on the server. Exiting the client caused the output to resume.

On the server side the Got Request kept ticking by until the client hung. I pressed Exit on the remote shortly after. Then the output resumed. Something is interfering with the client communication.

Right now, I'm just starting a video and seeing the hang without any skipping. I've tried this on videos with and without comskip to rule that out.
I moved one of the servers to a different location on the network, which made no difference. So neither server seems to make a difference.
I'll be happy to test any suggestions you may have or any additional logging.

Are you sure you aren't skipping?  Every log I see has skipping in it so it hard to follow the media.

I'm a little embarrassed... I did a port scan (Netstat –ab) and noticed that the V4 client was still installed on the machines. Not sure why that would interfere with an outbound request, but I've uninstalled V4 from both machines. Videos don't seem to be hanging now. I'll give it some heavy testing over the next few days.

Your last log clearly had skipping but it sounds like you found the problem.

Remember, I was asking you focus on one thing at a time, and me asking you to run NextPVRServer.exe was specifically to see if it fixed the slow down when you were sorting in the Recordings screen.
