Nextpvr imports not playing in Kodi

And just like that it RESOVED the issue. 

So Resolution was to:

Install Mediainfo. Copied Mediainfo.dll  from the meidainfo directory to C:\programfiles\nextpvr
since files where all ready uploaded open npvr.db3 and Ran Delete on Shedule recording table for imports
Ran NextTool to import again.
Reloaded in Kodi and :-)

I hope so too, but that is why this type of utility needs testing. Too many variable out in the wild.

To recap what your testing helped find.

- NextTool didn't handle movie NFO files.
- NextPVR doesn't show movie years and movie years must be Jan 1.
- Kodi needs a duration to play (I knew that but forgot so I will start logging this)
- MediaInfo.dll shipping with NextPVR Windows doesn't handle all file formats (but it works with most ts file except some of the latest tech in AC-4

Team Nextpvr is #1 in my book. I've tested free and paid. Nextpvr out shines them all.

Thanks for the offer, just watch the forum for posts that you might be able to help with.

I will not package MediaInfo.dll since sub would overwrite it with version updates and NextTool is meant to coexist with NextPVR libraries instead of requiring a huge standalone dotnet package. I will recommend that sub update his Windows versions since other functions including UI clients depend more on externally created media then they did in the past. Linux platform already are separate and Docker as other challenges.

I'm not sure which version you guys were using, but I've updated it to v21.9.1 for the next release, which is the latest version offered by the nuget package.

Sub, I am using your release version and didn't encounter a problems to date. I did link @samwilliams33 to the current release. On Linux I have had to compile newer then the distros provide though for some UI client file playback which is why I thought to have him check.
