Updating to Version 5.2.4.220103

I looked for the new version 5.2.4.220103.
The deb file here appears to be the version that I currently have (Version 5.2.2.211017)

Is that the right link?

You need to follow on the instructions on updating with dpkg here https://forums.nextpvr.com/showthread.php?tid=59576 apt install is only for the initial install.

I have been using linux for a while, but still not that familiar with some things.

Don't by sorry, the NextPVR distribution is a little different then most, and usually using apt is the right way. Sub and I would need to do a lot more work to make it available via apt and you'd have to download a new file each time. This tried and true deb file v1.4 has been static since for the whole pandemic since March 2020
