hello friends,

when i record through the epg, i defined that it would start 15min before, and end it 35 min after.

i have 2 questions for the recording please:

1. when i'm near the pc, and i see that the program ended, how can i "tell" GB-PVR to stop recoding (but not delete/cancell the recording)

2. when i wantch tv, through the GB-PVR, and it should start recording a show, it closes my tv window, and starts to record (even if i'm on the same channel, and i want to see and record the same tv channel simultaniously).
can anyone please advise?

Cancel will stop the recording, but not delete it.

Yep, this is normal and what it is supposed to do. If you want to watch the recording, you can visit the 'recordings' menu and play the in progress recording.

I'm not sure what you mean by "not giving any screen". Just to make sure we're talking about the same thing here, you should find the recording in progress under the "pending" section under the "recordings" menu. It should be on the top, where you should be able to choose it and choose "play"

Okay, thank you now i see.
one more question concerning this issue.
if i have started to record a program, and i notice that it begun very late compared to my schedule (+20min) can i "tell" GB-PVR to continue to record pass the time/extra XXmin /till i'll manualy tell it to stop recording).
thank you.

I'm not sure. I don't think you can. What you can do is to go to the tv guide and ask gbpvr to record the show after the one that is late. It will then be divided into to files, one for each "show", but I for one think this is better than missing the last part of the first show. If you want to have them as one file there is software out there to merge the two mpegs into one.
