using winTV or kaffeine finds some channels that nextpvr does not:

The Scan logs snippet seems to indicate it finds something..
2022-05-27 21:53:32:473 [DEBUG] >>> Scanning 509028615

2022-05-27 21:54:17:678 [DEBUG] >>> Scanning@next

(It finds 3 @515028615, they are shown in the channel results..)
(It seems to find something @521028615... it doesn't just @continue.. but the channels aren't listed in this log or results (and aren't counted))

In adapter0-ATSC-channels.conf they are there I believe:
[521.03MHz#3]
        SERVICE_ID = 3
        VIDEO_PID = 49
        AUDIO_PID = 52 53
        FREQUENCY = 521028615
        MODULATION = VSB/8
        DELIVERY_SYSTEM = ATSC

[521.03MHz#4]
        SERVICE_ID = 4
        VIDEO_PID = 65
        AUDIO_PID = 68
        FREQUENCY = 521028615
        MODULATION = VSB/8
        DELIVERY_SYSTEM = ATSC

maybe there's something strange about these channels that are tripping it up?
Any hints what I may do to get them listed?

You'd need to upload your full zipped logs. It is surprising to see OTA without the channel name.

I expect you will need a full mux capture of that frequency.

Then it is something like

dvbv5-zap -P -t 60 -c /config/adapter0-ATSC-channels-scan.conf 521.03MHz#4 -o /config/recordings/fullmux.ts

It recorded it fine. (file is big.. but:

(+) Video --vid=1 (mpeg2video 1280x720 59.940fps)
Video --vid=2 (mpeg2video 1280x720 59.940fps)
(+) Audio --aid=1 --alang=eng (ac3 2ch 48000Hz)
Audio --aid=2 --alang=eng (ac3 2ch 48000Hz)
Audio --aid=3 --alang=eng (ac3 2ch 48000Hz)

I also noticed this:
~ $ dvbv5-scan t3

WARNING: no SDT table - storing channel(s) without their names
Storing Service ID 3: '521.03MHz#3'
Storing Service ID 4: '521.03MHz#4'

"GOOD" channel is first.. "BAD" channel is second and gets the "error while reading the SDT table" message...

-vvv for just the good has the TVCT block with Channels.. -vv with just the bad does not..
maybe this channel sends that differently and dvb alone can't figure it out?
