For Settings>Devices>(selected device)>Update channels

There had long been a popup box on the screen for users to "Save" but about a month ago, the "Save" button disappeared. Problem exists in Chrome, Firefox and Edge browers running the latest version of NextPVR locally on Windows 8.1. Why did it go away and how can I get it back. See attached screen shot.

Any solutions?

Did you try Ctrl F5?

I hadn't until you suggested it. Thanks, Martin.

When I do a Ctrl F5, it brings me back to the Settings>About screen.

This is really confusing to me, it used to work fine until about a month ago and I made no changes on the device other than standard Windows Updates. I even reinstalled NextPVR and that had no effect.

Any other ideas to try?

It is normal to go back to the main settings page. What is the resolution of your PC?

I resized a screen shot. the original file size caused it not to be included in my original message.

Does the m3u url still exist? This 'update channels' popup doesn't show the save button until it's read the m3u, and listed the channels, so you can tick/untick the channels.

Yes. The m3u file still exists with the same name and same location. The URLs of the stations within the file had been edited and hence the need to do the update.

In the past, this "update channels" showed the channels so that they could be ticked/unticked and the dialog box had had the "save" option via a button that the text still references, but is now missing.

The workaround I have had to use is to delete the device, add it back using the m3u file, and then remap each of the channels to schedules direct. I have to do this every time I want to record one of the channels that streams for free in a browser, but changes its stream URL every few hours. (I generally record one show per day this way, but it is real pain.

I don't know what to do, NextPVR has no trouble accessing the m3u file to create a new device each time, only to update a device already listed in its list of devices.

Thanks for your help, sub!

You need to update the zipped logs. I think there is a also an issue if this was an XC code install.

Yeah, we'll need the logs so we can see what happened.
