Hi all

I have several NextPVR servers working as backends to feed geoblocked IPTV. I do this by using the method=channel.m3u export the playlists via a Zerotier WAN to a main NextPVR Installation on a VPS closer to me. The Zerotier method stops the world from turning in to my streams, and draining my bandwith.

What would be amazing is to be able to get the epg in XML format so that I can feed that into my master NextPVR server instead of having to retag the EPG files with the correct ones. For example I have manually remove the TVGID entery for nextpvr-9101, and replace it with "BBC2.UK" It would be so nice if there was an easy way to pull the EPG from NextPVR so that I can use it on my other
server.

Thanks
Thanksdasd

Why do you bother setting the EPG on the remote servers? Removing that would save you a lot of maintenance.

Please elaborate more on that.

I have several remote servers, and only usually set the EPG up on the last one in the chain that I link to kodi. The other servers are all linked to that one, and provide the m3us. I could swap nextpvr with something like xTeVe, and export that M3U, and EPG to the last NextPVR server, but I haven't had much success with xTeVe being used for anything than Jellyfin, and I don't want to break what has taken me so long to get working.

Your explanation doesn't make sense, maybe just too complicated for me to understand. If you setup the EPG on the last one in the chain you wouldn't need to export the EPG and could reduce the complexity too.

There was an XMLTV export at one time but some users where using it to forward data to unauthorized applications which NextPVR isn't licensed to do.
