I have been using GB-PVR for a couple months and have been very pleased with it. I have not downloaded the lastest version yet and still running v0.90.7c. One out of 10 or 20 recorded shows seem to have no sound. I have tried playing them through MVP and on computer using GB-PVR, Windows Media Player, and Nero ShowTime, but no sound.

Running current version of XP Pro on HP Pavillion P4 1.7Ghz, 768mb, 160gb. Only plugin is ComSkip. Using PVR-150.

Would appreciate any help.

I was using pre-release 150 drivers, and had the same issue, at the same frequency. Put different 150 drivers on the list of things to try.

New ones are out: http://www.shspvr.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=7843

Thanks for the fast reply. I downloaded the pre-release drivers and will give them a try. Hope that solves the problem.

Loaded new drivers. Only time will tell if problem solved. Is the audio track for the programs missing sound lost or is there anything I can do to recover the audio? Thanks again for your help.

If it was the drivers, the audio is missing altogether. I suspect that's 100% true anyway if no player can play it (since you have audio other times).

When I had the problem, it also happened just watching TV in timeshift, so if you only watch live, I don't know if you would have seen it w/o recording.

There was a bug vied in v0.91.12 that could account for this problem.

I finally got around to updating to v0.91.12. When I downloaded the update I noticed the audio issue mentioned. Wish I would have seen this sooner. Now have latest version of GB-PVR and 150 drivers. Thanks to both of you for fast response.
