Hello,

I have been trying to figure out why i can't record any shows.... log file attached.

There are some other signs that some channels like KCBS are not being received well suggesting you need to look at the antenna.

It could have something to do with this earlier message, maybe the share is having problems.

Hi, thanks.. yes i saw the errors:

2022-10-11 09:23:14.577 [ERROR][1] Recording directory does not exist: \\192.168.50.100\Movies\NextPVR\Recordings
2022-10-11 09:23:14.580 [ERROR][1] LiveTV directory does not exist: \\192.168.50.100\Movies\NextPVR\buffer

But I look at the \buffer folder upon watching live and I see files being created and the *.TS file gets larger. So I don't understand why the \Recordings folder can't be accessed?

What I can do in the meantime, I will change to the local default to see if I can record..

That was a temporary error, since it is working the last time you started NextPVR but it is something to pay attention too. I'd focus on the antenna issue today and maybe try WinTV.

Oh, ya I should add that I am trying to record through Emby. I wonder if that's the culprit? I can view and watch live just fine, it's when I try to record, nothing seems to happen.

The logs showed that you are using Emby yes and you actually weren't creating NextPVR recordings. NextPVR sees all request from Emby as Live TV. I would recommend you turn of the OTA EPG scan in NextPVR since you are using Emby guide data anyway. Having your live tv buffer on a share probably won't give much value either, it won't take that much disk space.

I still think you have an intermittent signal problem.

You can do that but go to Settings->Channels->Advanced and automap your tuners to None. Then (I think) you remove the EPG update time on Settings->EPG to stop it from trying.

Automap, was at none.  And you're correct, delete the time to autoupdate the EPG - see message:

Still trying to solve this.  When I hit record, I see the server tray icon go red for about 5 seconds.  I also check the NextPVR backend (see picture).  The server tray icon is only red for about 5-6 seconds then turns green (idle).  I check Emby, it still shows as "recording".

Still not able to record, this is puzzling.

I have bought a powered antenna and i am still getting the same results.
