Hello, there!

I am using Raspberry Pi OS, with a Raspberry Pi 400.

I got NextPVR installed and it has connected to my first sample server.  The channels appear in the web interface and groups etc, only thing that doesn’t work is the guide, there is no information on all entries unfortunately

Then I installed the NextPVR add on for KODI, but it does not appear to be working. No channels import , nothing is available inside any of the menu entries.  Here is the log: https://dpaste.com/28ZZ83EME

Thanks very much in advance for your assistance

Edit - got the EPG working! Didn’t realize I had to manually click the Update EPG button in web interface. Getting close here, let’s just figure out why the add on won’t work in KODI now!

You probably have way too many channels to deal with the slow speed of the RPi and potentially a slow disk drive. It could be the server too since you didn't provide the NextPVR logs The addon times out loading the channel list after 20 seconds of transfer.

2023-02-02 23:52:59.006 T:6068 DEBUG <general>: CurlFile::Open(0xa7308ff8) http://127.0.0.1:8866/service?method=cha...90f13d0b90
2023-02-02 23:53:19.080 T:6068 ERROR <general>: CCurlFile::FillBuffer - Failed: Timeout was reached(28)

There ways to have Kodi change the default timeout using advanced settings but it is far better to only import a reasonable number of channels by filtering just the channels you will actually watching.

You are also running on a standard RPi distro, so although I said in another thread that direct play would be good, I was focusing on the custom Linux versions like LibreElec. Performance on stock Linux will be inferior for sure, but it might be adequate for low bitrate h264/aac typical from IPTV. I expect you will have stuttering issues.
