Hi All,

A dumb question ????

What is XMLTV?
I noticed " XMLTV [https://i.mjh.nz/au/Sydney/epg.xml] " in "EPG Sources" and was wondering how to use it. 

FreeToAir EPG data is quite basic where the data contained in the above link contains Series and Episode Numbers

I did "Add XMLTV Channel Lineup" but nothing happened

my devices ..... (Up the top)
What am I missing or what am I doing wrong

XMLTV is a standard file format for holding TV listing information.

When you imported your IPTV device, you supplied an m3u url and an xmltv url. The xmltv url you supplied was https://i.mjh.nz/au/Sydney/epg.xml, and NextPVR remembers it.

If you also wanted to switch your DVB-T device over to using xmltv, you'd go to the Settings->Channels screen, and select Advanced Tools -> Automap, and then select DVB-T and your XMLTV source (you may have to go to 'None' first, then XMLTV...can't remember). It'll only remap those channels that have the same name though.

I'd suggest backing up your npvr.db3, in case you want to go back to where you were.

Hi Sub,

This Little Black Duck is not (totally) silly .... I did that yesterday  

I might have a quick play later on when I have a little more time.
Our EPG accross the ditch is pretty good.

I thought that XMLTV was IPTV (that's  why I said "Not (totally) silly)
