YAUICLIENT 2nd display issue

Hello,
I am trying to use a two display setup.  I have a all in one pc with a USB to HDMI adapter with the everything to display on the 2nd display ( Not the All in one).  I have tried the second display set up as either screen 1 or screen 2.  I have gone in the JSON file and set the display to either screen 1 or 2.  I have a error 87 parameter incorrect message.  My USB to HDMI adapter is outputting 720.  I have changed the value within the JSON file to 1280X720 and even 1024x768.  Still get the error message.
What am I missing?

Best not to edit the JSON file. The way to save the screen location in yauiclient is you move it to wherever you want, change the size or toggle fullscreen, then hit Alt-S

In general for performance regardless of the video or display use 1280x720 for the GUI.

Good Morning,
Ok I did as you described.  I need the All in one PC to go dark and just have the HDMI slave monitor light up.  The only way I can get YAUICLIENT to operate in to have the ALL in one set to either Duplicate these screens or extend these screens.  I cannot use show on 1 or show on 2.
Am I missing something?

I am not sure of what you are asking. Normally (I think) people use extend these displays to have independent displays. Taking yauiclient out of the picture is that what you use or are you saying you want to disable screen 1? If so screen 2 becomes screen 1 and you have a one screen system. You might need to delete yauiclient.json to change everything.

OK, I have a All in one pc ( Monitor and pc built into one). I need that screen to go dark for I am planning on putting the All in one pc behind my large screen tv. I want the large screen tv to be one of the displays.
I thought I knew what I was doing. How would you go about this setup?

If you are turning display 1 off and on it will be a challenge to also configure yauiclient since it uses a virtual screen size. I would configure everything after you have a working setup and display 1 disabled. Then yauiclient will just see it as a one display setup.

However for a setup like this I wouldn't use yauiclient, there are better UI clients that you can use from a smart TV app or from another HDMI port with uidroid.

Hello,
I have tried every which way we have discussed to get it to work. Just cannot get it. I had to resort to Nlite. Nlite works but I do not like to use it. Don't get me wrong it is nice but I have found a bug in it where when I go back to the program guide from exiting out of a live channel it hangs up sometimes. I just get a black screen and I have to control alt delete to use the task manager to close the program. We have tried troubleshooting it many of times in the past. I just like YAUICLIENT much better. Never had it hang up ever.
I am done with android boxes. I want all my computers to be windows based. Much easier to remote into them without the end user granting me access as the point I found with android boxes. ( Elderly Mother). As for the All in one computer it will do for now till I get a real computer built. I just had a couple all in ones sitting around and figured I would throw win 10 on them.

I still expect you are doing something wrong.

- delete yauiclient.json
- turn on show on display 2 (assuming 2 is the HDMI monitor)
- start yauiclient

If that doesn't work send the yauiclient.json that is created since it must work differently then here.

With uidroid, you never should need to login, problems would be on host.

OK, I deleted Yauiclient,json
How am I to do line 2 of your instructions? I just deleted it.
I started yauiclient. I get error 87 message.
