Martin,
When I hit pause in Yauiclient, the OSD is up for 10 or more seconds.  Which is longer than I would prefer.
I have these settings in the NPVR config.xml:
    <OSDTimeoutInfo>4000</OSDTimeoutInfo>
    <OSDTimeoutInfoOnPause>4000</OSDTimeoutInfoOnPause>
    <OSDTimeoutStatus>4000</OSDTimeoutStatus>
    <OSDTimeoutTimeline>4000</OSDTimeoutTimeline>
    <OSDMouseControls>4000</OSDMouseControls>
Looks like I have a build from 9/11/24.

Yes the old UI client setting may not be valid. Technically before you had the UI up for 8 seconds but the new OSD doesn't separate the time line from the OSD.

I would check the OSD timeout for thumbs even if you aren't using thumbs, the UI is really built around them.

Martin,
I just tried changing this to 4000, but see no change in behavior after a restart.
<ThumbskipTimeout>30000</ThumbskipTimeout>
I do have thumbs disabled.

OK I wasn't sure, the OSD timeout in the new GUI certainly has annoyed me so I don't know all the nuances.

<OSDTimeoutInfoOnPause>4000</OSDTimeoutInfoOnPause> seems to work for me though. If you make a change maybe exit from the main menu to get a new session in case that gets saved internally.

I rebooted after changing the config. I can count to 18 before the OSD disappears...
Maybe something else is involved.

Could be a change I made in my version the API is not so documented. Always confirm with nlite.

NLite is timing out in 4 seconds.
All of this is running on the same machine as the server and I haven't upgraded the server to the latest version yet.

OK one day I will post an update so hopefully that will help. Nlite and NextPVR.exe are better on the local machine

I was having trouble with closed caption causing a hang with NextPVR. Plus Yauiclient has volume control...

Ctrl+B behaves like it should, displaying the OSD for 4 seconds.
