Hi all

I have successfully with the help of Martin managed to get one server migrated.

I now need to do another, but this one is slightly more complex.

I need to know, if it's possible, and if so how, to manually edit the streaming URLs for each channels, and where the file is which will allow me to accomplish this.

The server I am migrating, simply acts as a backend which feeds the M3U list from server B to server A. Server A connects to Kodi, and loads the EPGs.

It would be easier to simply replace the IP address of the relevant streams on server A, which point to server B.

Where is the file, which will allow me to accomplish this?

I could it via the web interface, and change "details" but it is greyed out.

Thanks

If the m3u is exactly the same except for the URL, a rescan should do it, except you will likely lost your channel groups.

Your question isn't really a migration issue it is a developer question. You can open npvr.db3 with sqlite3 and do a global replace in the channel_mapping table tuning field assuming it is only the URL that changed changing values ensure the "to" url has proper XML markup.

<source>from</source> <source>to</source>

Explaining how to to that is out of scope for me but for either option backup while you do it.

Thanks Martin, sure I will find my round if a global replace needed.
Just to give you an example of what I mean.
Here is one example of a pre migrated stream. http://172.29.183.242:8866/live?channel=48 my intention would be to replace the IP within nextpvr to http://172.29.232.160 :8866/live?channel=48
