Error when trying to download VoDs

Hey (me again) 

I'm having issues accessing the VoD on a xtream connection, I get all the channels perfectly but when I enable VoD it appears to error out. 

Is there something I'm missing or is there just an error with the provider and I can't use NextPVR for VoDs (with this provider)?

I just checked here, and it downloaded XC VOD ok. It's likely your provider is returning some slightly different information. I can't really check that easily though.

Why not just use m3u import instead? Most IPTV providers support it, even if they say they don't.

Sorry my general knowledge of XC vs M3U is a little lacking, if you want I could dm you the link and you could have a look to see if its something that I could easily fix through changing the type.

Sorry @sub I have a quick follow up question, do you work with the Jellyfin plugin? Are VODs sent along as a new channel? (Is it something that donating unlocks? because that's the last thing I need to make this perfect)

I wrote the Jellyfin plugin and their PVR API doesn't support VOD, which doesn't really matter since the NextPVR API doesn't support VOD either.

Best to download from the VOD menu and then VOD shows up as recordings.

Do we know if it's possible to get the url column from the vod table? I want to avoid downloading as much as possible (due to space constraints and NextPVR being run in Docker so I'd prefer keeping the Transcoding in Jellyfin)

(I know I could open the DB, query it and use that but just in case there is a proper way to get the information from an API endpoint or not)

Not sure what you are trying to achieve programmatically but you already have the URL column via the m3u file,

NextPVR shouldn't be transcoding downloaded VOD, or recordings and Live TV is only transcoded for web player. Jellyfin is considered a direct play client.
