Adding new channel, using xmltv

Hello, 

I wanted to record something last night and get to sleep but found the channel wasn't in the guide. 

Forgive me me for not searching very much for the answer. I'm wondering what's the best way to go about adding this, or all channels without much fuss or disturbing existing recording schedules? 

They're (or at least this one) is already listed in the xmltv file.

Knowing the tuner type is more import then the guide source.

Nevermind, the auto post search is better than my mind at this moment


I keep thinking that the channel Must exist in the channels section before it can be added to any device, rather than you add it to the device, or in this case import to the device and it will show up in the channel list. Live down it by now but good gravy and do I not feel like setting the two setting boxes by mobile!

You're very quick! Thank you martin. It is currently an HD pve. If I get time, going to change to an iptv recorder! I'm all ready for it.,just need to buy the hardware.
