Hello I forgot the password to access next pvr on Windows computer is there a way to recover it?

You can reset it but not recover it. Edit config.xml and reset just usernames and passwords. If you entering the default values for admin/password and PIN 0000 would be. If Kodi is working the PIN doesn't have to be reset.

And how would one go about editing it? (Sorry, i am very new to linux)

I was having troubles, so i tried to uninstall and reinstall but it still won't let me log in using admin/passwrd
