Channel lock issue during recording

The device log for a recording starting at 20:00:47.839 on channel 20 does not stay on this channel for the full hour for this program. The device appears to switch to channel 5 at 20:05:05.852, then 32 at 20:06:08.361, then back to channel 20 at 20:07:11.439, then to 33 at 20:08:13.806, and jumps to a few more channels until it appears to stay on channel 26 for the rest of the hour.

It looks like you have an EPG update happening during that recording. As mentioned in this post:

2) The EPG update always happens on tuner 1 and there is no check (although it has been requested). A users suggested a helpful change to move tuner 1 so that your priority is giving you 2 recordings and 1 live TV before the EPG update gets in way.

The EPG update always happens on the first tuner a channel was scanned on (typically tuner 1). If you have multiple tuners (like the 4 in the example above), you can reorder the tuners to move tuner 1 down in the priority list to help minimize the chances of it being in use for a recording when an EPG update occurs.

It looks like you are in the US where OTA EPG listings do not typically span even a whole day, so you might want to consider getting a Schedules Direct subscription and using it for your guide data. It will make your life much better.
