I keep getting failed recording (maybe 50%) on my headless Debian server but I can't understand why from the logs. I attached the portion of the log I think is pertinent then I attached the full logs.
Is it having trouble with the stream? Is there something I can do to make it more consistent?

I also keep seeing these PowerManagement StayAwake (needs implementation)

I googled but don't believe I have any power management active on the server. I've never known it to sleep in the years I've had it.

I want to change my failed recording percent to about 10% but it's about 50% of this show at 10pm.

Did you change to one connection as discussed in the other thread? The 9pm recording was still being recorded and it failed trying to open padding. If you changed maybe you aren't running 7.0.3 which added that change for IPTV.

Also you have created advanced rules for channels you have removed.

How d I remove this advance rule? FYI...  I deleted and re-added the channels again last night because in my attempt to see what was up I doubled the channel count you see on the device screen. So, I removed them all and started over. I also deleted all the scheduled recordings and set them again.

Yes, I made that change to 1 which makes sense, so it was still recording Adam 12 when Taxi came on at 10. So I made the connections 2 but should I remove the padding? I think I have the padding set at 2 minutes because sometimes the ends of the shows were getting cut off so that might be the problem.

I don't know how to tell which recordings are failing from the UI sorry. I believe in using stable channels.

Don't make it two if your device only supports one. Are you sure you are running 7.0.3?

My version says Version: 7.0.3.250920

Now all my recording are failing, I will attach a new set of logs please and thanks...

PS... The list I'm using has 5 connections and is my backup so this is mostly when it gets used. It's a private service and has been extremely reliable.

I am seeing shows in the logs that are not shows I record. Anyway to wipe out the settings and start from scratch? That might get rid of that advanced setting you said I have.

Also, my list doesn't appear on the EPG sources, am I supposed to manually set it there also? What is there says, " DVB/ATSC EPG".

I give up, now when I click on a channel I get red writing that says "no tuner is available..."

Before I was getting red writing saying something about transcoder not something...

It could be that max connections is working for Live TV and scheduling but not padding that needs to be confirmed.

Martin.

Anyway to default it so I can start from scratch?

Or do I have to delete the software to start over?

I think I figured it out, I had chanced where the files buffer to the same drive as the recordings but I failed to give the directory permission.

I am able to watch live shows so I hope the recordings work.

PS...  I still want to know if I should add the list to the EPG sources? It seems to be working fine and I can see the guide data, I just don't see it on that web page.
