Try setting the deinterlacing setting to 'None' on the misc tab of the config app. If that doesnt work, try disabling live preview mode.

Now there is no more error message but I can't see any TV shows. Just black.

Chances are, you've not configured properly then.

I followed the quick start and when it searchs for channels it finds them. What can be wrong?

Given the amount of information you've provided in this thread - I dont know. It could be anything. I know nothing about what capture hardware you've got, how you're trying to hook it up, what video decoders you have, how you're starting live tv etc....

Well I guess I could be more clear. I have a Hauppauge 250 PVR and I go to GBPVR through my start menu. I have Shaw Analog cable and I live in Winnipeg Manitoba Canada R1A2Z6. I ahve no clue what is wrong.

I wouldn't say the quick start is wrong. I assume what you are referring to is this:
"ensure all the settings match your environment (e.g. New Zealand, S-Video input etc)." To me that says that you should put in the correct values, and then an example is given. That particular example happens to be S-Video. |
