Im using a pvr-150 and geforce fx 5700 LE and gbpvr seems to work fine with live tv. It seems to be recording when I schedual something but when I try to watch it live or already recorded I get a black screen. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thx

Ok, I think I figured out why it wont play. My recordings are being saved in mpeg and not mpeg2 format. How do I change it to do this? Ive tried all the settings in the config including high quality?

GB-PVR always records MPEG2 file, which have the .mpg extension.

Try to work out whether its "recording" or "playback" thats the problem. Try viewing the MPEG2 file in another player. Also confirm the same player can play an MPEG2 from another source. Also, try playing an MPEG2 file from another source in GB-PVR.

ok that was the problem...its was mpeg 2 but the nvidia dvd decoder wasnt working. When I installed the dvd decoder that came with the pvr-150 and set those up in the config everything started to work. Thx for the help Smile
