Question with burned DVD on HD

Hello all! Love the program so far, one question. I have many DVD's burned to my HD. I copy the full DVD over, and normaly use PowerDVD to play them. Is they a way to get it so when I see the list of DVD's, I can get a picture of the DVD cover and/or more information on the DVD. I did see they is somthing like that now, but it makes you convert your DVD to .mpg file, and I do not want to lose to quility.

Oh, I don't mined doing it by hand...say i go out and get the cover art, or type in the information I need. It does not have to pull it from the websites.

You dont need to convert your DVD to a .mpg file unless you're trying to view them on a PVR350 or MVP - even then, I dont you lose any quality doing this. You can rip the DVDs to the hard disk using the DVD ripper pluggin.

To show DVD artwork, you've probably got a few options. Either install My Videos (I think this has artwork), or you can place a folder.jpg and movie.dvdinf file in the directory and view from Video Library.

The dvdinf file has the following info:

<DVD>
<Title>movie title</Title>
<Overview>asjasjkdhas akjhakjs djkasdhsdakjsdas </Overview>
</DVD>

I cant remember what the tool is called, but there is something that will generate these files for you if.

Sorry to sound like a noob..as I am...but the movie.dvdinf file. Is that just a text file saved with the .dvdinf ext?

No, sorry. That feature is old and not really skinnable.

let me try that again...Is there any way to remove the [previous directory] ? if not, can you change the icon for it somehow?

This isnt a feature thats had much time spent on it.
