yesterday i updated to the ne release. first of all: great changes, the tv-guide-screen is much better now.

when i press pause in live-tv no osd is displayed. pressing the blue button or play shows it again. when i pause, then rewind, then play the picture freezes. when i click play again gbpvr exits live-tv and goes back to main menu.

there is no mini-guide-information available. my epg didn't change, the tv-guide is populated, but the minguide says that there is no information.

when i want to jump to a channel by number i can see the number displayed in the left corner. pressing enter changes to the same channel (the picture flickers, pauses and then plays again).

sorting the music library causes a .net-error: "Der Objektverweis wurde nicht auf eine Objektinstanz festgelegt" -> this means something like: "the object-reference points to no object-instance" (bad translation, sorry). i get this error when there are folders in the music library. sorting subfolder containing only files brings no error, but i cannot see any sorting.

again, thanks for the new release! if it helps, i can reproduce the errors and send you the log-files.

edit: i found another problem: everytime gbpvr updates the epg-data it adds the channels to the bottom of the old ones. yesterday i had 34 channels, a few minutes ago i had 68 and now there are more than 90 channels. every channel is displayed 3 times and they are absolutely the same.

Sorry - I missed your original question. Sounds like you've got a few very odd things happening.

Is this a specific client? MVP/PVR350/XCard/Overlay/VMR?

So what actually happens when you're watching live tv and press ctrl-g (or the green key)? Do you get an error message?

Is this only certain directories that cause this error? I'm unable to reproduce this here. Does the same thing happen if you're in icon or list mode (ctrl-b to switch).

This very strange, it will only add a new channel to the database if there is not one with the same name. It sounds like your mdb database maybe corrupt or some other funny installation type problem. It may be worth uninstalling and reinstalling.

i will try uninstalling and deleting the hole directory and install it again.
the miniguide problem: there is no error message. it only says "no guide information available". maybe, this problem is connected to the channel-problem.

i have a pvr250 and a matrox g-400 to display on tv, so no specific client. maybe, this happened once and will not happen again. the sorting happens in icon mode, when there are folders in the directory.

let me test it again with a fresh installation.
