GB-PVR works in Vista

Having no life I opted to beta test Vista for MS. So, I figured I'd try the Hauppauge drivers for my 350. Using Hauppauge's drivers (don't know about the ones from the SHS site) I was able to get the radio working but WinTV2000 would not install---what a pity. So, after installing Net runtime, I installed GB-PVR with default settings. Set my card and made a few adjustments and it works. Haven't tested much but do know music, weather, xrecord and live tv work fine. Thought I'd have to use XP compatibility mode but since it worked on first try, I didn't question it.

So your saying that GB-PVR installed just fine on your MS Vista Beta 1?
Can I ask what version of MS .NET did you install? If I can make my dual Hauppauge's work, I'll will be a very happy camper!!! Also where specificaly can I download it?

That's great news! When MS Vista comes out in 2008 or 2009, i'm glad that it's all going to work out!

I have the 500 MCE and radio works but not Wintv 2000...even in XP compatibilty mode.
GB-PVR worked fine without installing in the XP compatibitly mode. I used the link on the GBPVR website and downloaded Net1.1. The rest was easy as pie.
I don't really run it in VISTA (just in case I miss a program) but I've had no problems at all.
Now if the SB Audigy drivers would work

I realize Vista is in beta form but I would think that, at the very least, the .NET framework would have been a part of the OS. Guess that means .NET may not be around much longer...

.NET will replace the current WIN32.api in the next version of Windows. I believe (although it is still a ways away so who knows) that it will be .NET 2.0.
