I have set up GBPVR with my TV Card and the Cyberlink MpgMux.ax (tried with version 2.0.0 AND v5.0.0.727) but whenever i try to use LiveTV i just get a black screen.

The "Map channels" button in the config works correctly and i can see the preview channels, but LiveTV just won't work.

I found that if I chose the 'overlay' screen output I'd get a black screen, but everything was fine with vmr9.

Recorded tv would work fine with overlay, but live tv and dvd movies would just give me a black screen and seemingly lock up gbpvr to the point where I'd have to attach a keyboard and C-A-D to end task. As soon as I switched to vmr9 everything was peachy.

GBPVR does not lock up. It just stays with a black screen in Live TV, OR if i select WATCH from the TV Guide.

If i leave the black screen for approx 2 minutes, then press Esc to go back to the menu, i get a message in GBPVR saying "Object reference not set... blah blah blah".

I have tried VMR9, 7 and Overlay, but i just get a black screen.

UPDATE: Although i previoulsy stated "Map channels" displays an image IT DOES NOT - it was my mistake.

RECAP: Black screen in "Map channels" screen AND Live TV. But map channels DOES find the channels.

Thats probably your problem - no compatible MPEG2 decoder installed.

So why do i get this output from MuxChecker:

GB-PVR has detected the following multiplex filters on your machine:

Found: CyberLink MPEG Muxer
FILE: c:\windows\system32\mpgmux.ax
VERSION: 5.0.0727

And i got the same result when i used version 3 of this file.

What mux *DOES* work with GBPVR, where do i get it from, and how do i install it?
