Hi, hope someone can help.

My recordings have got exceptionally quiet audio on them. Any mp3s I play thrgh gbpvr are fine, but I have to pt 'pseudo surround' on my tv to hear anything; and when I do, it's harsh to listen to, like a 'strained' bitrate.

I've tried changing the playback settings with no joy - so over to you guys. Playing the mpeg through powerdvd is the same - low sound. So, it's a capture problem.

I'm using the most recent version on a PVR150, and this problem existed with the last version. I can't think of anything that changed that may have caused this...

i'm not sure if its of use, but you can try to set the tuner volume with the hauppauge tweak utility (http://www.cask-of-amontillado.com/pvr_tweak.html).

AMD 1600mHz, 512 M RAM, 20+160 GB drive, Hauppauge PVR-350 + PVR-150 + PVR-150MCE, Win XP Pro SP3, using software decoding.

I'd be surprised to see the tweak tool not solve your problem. My PVR-USB2 had the same issue until I upped the volume with the tweak tool.

I've found some old recordings that I did, and they're fine. The only thing that has changed is the version of gbpvr
