Red eye serial

Hi,

Can someone please clarify the steps needed to set up channel changing for a Pace ditv4001 box using the red eye serial connected to com1. Should I use redeye.exe or redeye2.exe? What string should I use with it. Tried both executables with ".{channel}" and no joy.

I tried the demo program and it worked fine so I know hardware is ok.

Executable: c:\program files\devnz\gbpvr\redeye2.exe (assuming you have put the redeye2.exe in the GBPVR folder

Parameters: -port=com1 "={channel}"

Not sure that you actually need the port=com1 as it defaults to com1, but it works for me and I've learnt not to play with things that work.

Cheers for that, works fine now. Didn't need the port parameter just the "={channel}" as you said.
