Hi Guys,

Does anyone know if there is a way to change the transparency level of the OSD panels? They can be a be hard to see sometimes and i'd like to make them more solid in my new skin.

Thanks

Sorry for digging up such an old thread!

I'm trying to adapt the blue skin and wanted to switch OFF the transparency of Pop-up screens. I've tried setting the "OSD transprency" to "0" and "200" and "1000" but it doesn't make any difference. I'm using the latest GB-PVR and VMR9 Custom renderer.

What am I doing wrong?
Thanks

Are you talking about screens that popup over video, or screens that popup over menus?

Give me a concrete example of a screen, and I'll try to help.

Concrete examples are the "transcode" and "delete" popups that come up in the video library.

For future reference, the OSD is the On Screen Display that appears over the video.

I think if you edit the skin file
"C:\Program Files\devnz\gbpvr\skin\Blue\video library2\skin.xml" and create a new SpecialElement with <SpecialElement name="ForegroundTransparency" percent="100"> then it should be fully opaque. This of course assumes you're using the 'blue' skin.

SOLVED -- this is exactly what I was looking for.

Thank you!
