Hi

Could it be possible to calibrate the colors of the screens before sending them to the MVP? It would be cool to be able to adjust the intensity of red, green and blue.

My MVP goes crazy with the reds...

Thanks for the reply,

I thought I had read somewhere that each frame is generated on the server, compressed and sent to the mvp. I figured if the frame is generated, probably using GDI, that calibrating it would be easy. I guess I didn't understand.:-(

I think that is true on the "still" images, menu screens and such. But the streaming mpeg files are untouched, and decoded on the fly by the MVP itself.
3x MVPs (not used anymore)
XBMC
Hauppauge 150 via SVideo
Comcast Digital Cable
Motorola HD Cable box channel changed via Firewire
Vista Home Premium with RDP hack
AMD Athalon 64 5000+
340gig sata, plus 80SATA+3x160IDE Drives in XP machine for storage.

Sounds like you'd have to decode the stream, perform your manipulations, then re-encode the stream to send it on its way. Yuck.
My HTPC-in-progress:
Intel P4 3.0ghz, 1gb dual channel pc3200 ram, 2 400gb SATA hard drives, Sound Blaster Audigy2, and Hauppauge PVR500, in the beautiful SilverstoneTek SST-LC16B case Big Grin

Sorry I wasn't clear...I didn't mean to calibrate for mpeg streams, just for all the menus and still pictures. So I guess it could be possible for the static stuff right?

Yes, its technically possible to adjust the colours of the menus. Maybe in a future release.
