Hello all!

I installed the latest version yesterday and discovered a new cool function, Conversion processing under the tab Processing...

But, some things about it.
1. I wan't 24hourclock Smile
2. I managed to set the "timer" to start at 3 o clock, but nothing happened ?
3. Does it need ffdshow or something like that?
4. Finally, is there a way to run it when you wish, i.e. start a script, click a button like "Process now" ?

Looks like you're out of luck then Big Grin

Can you post your GBPVRRecordingService.exe.log file for that time?

If you're going to convert from DVR-MS to MPEG2, then you need the Cyberlink mux installed. If you're going to convert from either DVR-MS or MPG to DivX/XviD, then you need to have Elecard player installed. Conversion to WMV do not require any extra software. EDIT: I think conversion to WMV requires Windows Movie Maker to be installed (which is freely available from Microsoft).

No, there isnt. You can set the transcoding to happen ASAP, which will start processing as soon as the recording finishes.

In general, start experimenting with WMV / XviD first as these have seem most reliable. DivX seem less reliable.

Darn... just have to figure out if it is PM or AM that is daytime :)

Hmm.. nope, but another log:
19:28:55.439 INFO Log started
19:28:55.439 VERBOSE SOURCE:D:\Videos\Simpsons\Simpsons_20050915_18301900.mpg DEST:D:\Videos\Simpsons\Simpsons_20050915_18301900.wmv TYPE:WMV RECORDING_OID:

However, there is no .wmv-file in that directory ?

Meaning if i understand it right, that if you do not tick the "wake up.."-box it starts converting right away?

Can you post your GBPVRConvert.exe-native.log?

Nope. If you scroll throw the start time hours, you'll eventually get to an ASAP setting.

Now i'm not sure if it an error here really, going to test again and see if timer-setting fails, then i'll send a fresh .log

Alright, attached the last convert-log, however it's not much info in it.
Setting is to convert asap to .wmv

Really weird stuff this :-)
