Leadtek is one of most advanced PC integrated TV tuner producers today!
amazingly, your software missed this !
Let me show: your software doesn't handle DV2000 XP Leadtek tuners or TV Expert etc
if go to their site (http://www.leadtek.com.tw) to download latest tuner for leadtek dv 2000 you will be amazed to find a reliable tuner capable to record divx-video and mp3-audio simultaneously and much more while your software show the user non-understable menus with lot of bugs and freezing holes...
so, try it for more and success !
please email me when got it !

There is another theory which states that this has already happened.

For those that are curious, he probably posted this in relation to my post at the following URL where I recommended an ATI550 over a Leadtek card.

I heard the Leadtek cards were the main suspect in a sting of missing call girls along the I-95 between Atlanta and Miami. You may want to avoid them until the investigation wraps up.

I'm keeping this. It is hilarious, unless I non-understable it..
At work, I keep a list of odd comments, and post them as "The Latest Phrase" This is going up there today.

Actually, I would like it to be known that with the LeadTek PVR 2000 card (which has hardware encoding), I had no significant issues in getting GB-PVR to work.
I have had no problem with Live TV, and no problem recording a show.
I am now experimenting (trying to get the best possible quality, with the least amount of hard disk space for the recorded show).
I am not sure of the reason, but a 30 minute recorded show using WinFast 2000 PVR (the software that came with the card) stores a mpg file in 715MB, while GB-PVR stores a 30 minute show in 1718MB. I suspect that the difference is in the encoding/decoding/quality.
Initially, to my novice eyes, the main advantages of GB-PVR over WinFast seem to be:
1. integrated TV Schedule which allows for click and select of recordings
2. commercial skipping (although I haven't got this to work yet, I hope that I will without too much difficulty); I have yet to download & use comskip.
3. better archival/retreival of recorded shows using GB-PVR and associated plug ins
Initially, the main adavantages of WinFast over GB-PVR seem to be:
1. usage of the extensive IR remote that came with the card (although this isn't a big deal for me, since I probably will use only the PC interface)
2. simple, easy to use user interface (I find that the user interface for GB-PVR is somewhat "rough around the edges".)

In summary, I would like to congragulate whoever wrote this piece of software - it's really a very good piece of software. Keep up the good work.Big Grin

Yeah, only difference its the quality settings (bitrate etc).

The LeadTek PVR 2000 is based on the same conexant reference design as the Hauppauge PVR250, and is an alright card from what I understand. The other LeadTek cards arent so hot.
