I thought ydekmekji's suggestion of a Wiki page for HTPC hardware was very good, so I decided to put one up.

http://myhtpc.ljusberg.com/

The idea is that if "everyone" contributes with a few words on what HTPC setups they are using, we can build up a library of good (and bad) hardware combinations.

If successful, I think this might be a very good tool for the community, especially for people (like myself) who are in the process of spending some money on a new rig... If not successful, well it only took a couple of hours to set it up. Rolleyes

Anyway, go over to http://myhtpc.ljusberg.com/ and contribute!

Since it's a Wiki, it's all a matter of editing and creating new web pages.

1) Go to the page MyHTPC->All Setups
2) Click the "Edit" button at the bottom of the page. This takes you into edit mode.
3) Create a link to a new page by copying one of the rows that looks like this:
||[[MyHTPC/SomeName]] ||Some description ||
Make sure to change the name to the name of your setup (you can call it ChargersHTPC or something)
4) Save the page (the Save button at the bottom).
5) Click the new link (it will have a question mark at the end, that means that the page doesn't exist yet).
6) This takes you to your own setup page. Edit it with any information you'd like to have in there. If you want some "nice" formatting, you can copy and paste from the MyHTPC.Template page.

Good luck! And let me know if you have any problems.

BTW, I'll post this guide to the Wiki as well...!

Excellent, an Epia will make a nice addition! Smile

Also feel free to add some information on the cases, tuners, graphic cards etc etc that you use!

Well, to be honest, Wiki sites rarely do.. Anyway, I'll keep it online. I still think it's a rather good idea!

Ahh.. I finally decided on the setup I'm using for my next HTPC..!

Check her out, and feel free to comment on the design..

Hopefully, all parts will arrive during next week. Can't wait!
