Not much of a real change.
It now displays a warning about height + y offset and width + x offset. They cannot exceed a set value. This was pointed out by sub and was causing some people problems.

Let me know if there are any problems.

Just to give my 2 cents worth of experience using this plug-in. Found it confusing at the start, making it difficult to adjust. The easiest way to do it is reset everything first to the default width, height, x, y position

Width : 640
Height: 480
X Pos : 0
Y Pos : 0

This will give you an oversize screen on the MVP. Since everything is at it's default, use the plug-in to get the correct settings for you. I move the yellow box up and down, left and right with the arrow keys on the remote. Take note of the left-hand corner of the yellow box, position it to desired area. After positioning the yellow box, this is the time you resize the yellow box using the number keypad. Take note of the new numbers, enter it in config, and voila!, perfect box for MVP.

Hope this helps, people using the plug-in.

Would this also work for the tv-out of the pvr 350? If so I would REALLY like it! Do I have to make any alterations?

Thought I give it a try. No it unfortunately doesn't work on the pvr350. There is no mac-address for the pvr350. Any chance you could modify the plugin a bit so that it also works on the pvr350?

BTW how do I clear the mac addresses for the mvp's I don't have :p

Thanks and greetz,

Currently it does not work with a PVR350 because I do not have one. If someone wants to send me one Smile. Or if you are willing to be a tester I could change it so it would work with a PVR350.

Currently the only way is to modify config.xml manually. I suggest notepad. There really is not a reason to delete them unless it just bothers you.

reven,
I assume you mean the x, y, and offset values. That's what I did up till now. However, I am not satisfied with the result. I still have things that fall off the edge of the screen, whereas other situations give annoying white lines at the edge of the picture. Also, when watching photo's, the aspect ratio is just off... Changing config.xml, restarting gbpvr, checking and so on was boring and took me just too much time.

So I thought an pvr350 tvout position tweaking tool might be quite convenient. When it is already available for the mvp, it should be possible to do it for the pvr350 too, I presume.

If you have a good suggestion how to improve this, I'm very interested.

Ron22,
Yeah! It worked just fine. I only didn't start of from the 640x480 resolution, but the PAL resolution of 720x576. Finally everything on screen! I couldn't check photo's, though. THese used to be off in Aspect ratio...

But thanks for the tool!
