Just tried to download and install the fix for the weather plugin. However, the downloaded zipfile (799kb) appears to be corrupt. Any chance of anyone uploading a non-corrup file?

The file isn't actually corrupt. I was able to use the free ZipReader from PKWare to unzip the file. It'll create a directory with a single file in it named WeatherPluginSetup. Rename this file to WeatherPluginSetup.ZIP and unzip again - viola. I've attached the "unzipped-zip" file. This one should work for you.

And by the way, this patch fixed the "meta data" error with the current condition for me.

It's strange, but this one is still corrupt. The size reported by the forum is 520kb, whereas the one I download is 799kb, just like the corrupt one. Even tried to clear history, but to no avail.

Any clues?

This zip works fine here. It downloads and opens without any problems.

I can't open it (the file attached 4 posts below here) in windows or winzip on 3 different computers. Says any one of the following: file corrupt; no files in archive; or spans multiple volumes please insert the first volume.

Edit: I downloaded zip reader as you mentioned. The program gave me an error but would not specify what it was. The file it spat out then had to be renamed as .zip and then could be extracted. Also, the zip file is 800kb while the extracted file is 535kb. MaBo's not crazy

Try 7-Zip; from what I can tell it has something to do with the content wrapper not being as it should.
