Simple EPG question

The EPG here in the UK frequently gets all mixed up due to late alterations. If I clear the EPG and then update it, do I loose any scheduled recordings for the period in querstion?

I know I could just try and see, but I thought I might as well ask first!

This is actually a long-standing Wishlist item that Sub has repeatedly said he will not do...

Emptying the EPG and updating manually (or through the calling of GBPVR.exe -OnlyUpdateEPG etc) *should* clear all recordings scheduled for these channels, but at least in 0.93.11 it did not. I do not know if it's doing that in 0.94.12...

In any case, the same thing (late alterations) happens in Israel a lot too, so I also wanted a way to update the programs, but Sub says it's difficult and makes the update process so complex that he just won't do it.

I almost got bit by that last night. They moved E-Ring to 8:00, and I planned on watching it live at 9:00 while Lost and Criminal Minds was recording. I happened to go to titantv, and noticed that they moved it. I just entered a manual recording to catch it.

i tried maneul clearing of the epg and then updating
is seems to work until i go to the tv guide section then all spots are blank
and ideas on how to fix this

Seems we all have the problem potentially, I guess I'll just have to try it out sometime.

Last night a freind called me on the 'phone just as I sat down to watch Spooks. As I was recording it I could relax and enjoy the 'phone chat, then watched the program from the beginning while it was still recording. What a great trick! Full marks sub!

"uninstalled" the source card then reinstalled it and it started working
